After the fishing adventure in the morning we cruised to Montgomery Reef. This place is amazing & you have to watch the video to get an idea of what I mean. Due to the massive tides in the Kimberley (sometimes up to 14m) Montgomery Reef has waterfalls rushing down the side of the reef as the water tries to escape. The reef is full of life, numerous turtles, sharks, stingrays, trevally & other fish, it really is a unique experience. After checking out the sharks the crew politely asks if you would like to go for a swim on a near by sand key (which by the way disappeared shortly after we left due to the rising tide). Interestingly enough most people decided they would brave the shaky waters and have a quick dip.

Week 35 – Kimberley BTS Day 3A – Barramundi fishing in the Kimberley
Day 3 in the Kimberley was a very pack with adventure so I have broken it up into 3 videos A,B & C. We all woke up early in the morning to try our first bit of Kimberley Barramundi fishing. Week 30 Behind the Scenes Cairns Day 6 (QLD) – Drive to Port Douglas
After all the craziness of filming for 5 days straight Tara & I said goodbye to Pete & Jess & took the scenic drive to Port Douglas. It is such an incredible drive and I would recommend it to anyone. We had a look around the town of Port Douglas then decided to head further north for a quick look at the Daintree before returning to Cairns in the evening.

Week 29 Behind the Scenes Cairns Day 5 (QLD) – Babinda Boulders
Babinda boulders has got my vote for the most magnificent place in the world. I can't go past clear, fresh, warm, crocodile free, swimmable water. I loved it so much I went back a few days later without my video camera to enjoy it for all its awesomeness. It's one of those destinations you just can't capture to show how stunning it is. I'll definitely be going back the first chance I get

All up a fantastic day in the sun and well worth the shot, relatively inexpensive boat trip.
Well suited for backpackers, family or any traveller.
